Kittens are the most adorable of all creatures, well have to be fair to puppies as when they grow up and becomes cats, what can i say; a cat makes life fun.
While I was growing up, my house never lacked a kitten and a puppy and eventually were cats and dogs. Amazingly they were very close to each other. I remember a time my cat was chased down our block by a random dog. Somehow my dog sensed the cat was in danger and kept backing at our gate. I hurried to open and he stormed out at full speed.
I tried to call him back but he was so charged. That's when I saw our cat running towards the dog with another dog right behind her. "Tommy" my dog stopped and barked hard with a mean face at the dog and the cat stopped right behind Tommy. She and Tommy were a team. the cat had her paws out and the other dog feared and ran away.
The two walked towards me together. Neighbors were very impressed and so was I. I carried the cat home and put a leash on Tommy. Since then I came to understand the cartoon "Tom & Jerry". They are good friends playing together and unite whenever any of them was in trouble.
The cat did not live longer after that she was killed by the dog and Tommy carried her like a puppy in his mouth and brought her home for us to bury her. Very sad in deed but now Tommy has past mourning stage is as alive as ever.
